Pride in the Park – Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s roots reach back to 1993. The group formed to provide a safe and welcoming environment for Lehigh Valley’s LGBT community. Since 1993, the organization has held its premier event, the Allentown Pride in the Park Festival. The festival, which attracts thousands of attendees, takes place in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and celebrates the LGBT community’s accomplishments and progress. It features live entertainment, games, vendors and much more.

Bethlehem Labor Day Parade – For many years the United Steelworkers of America have held a Labor Day Parade in Bethlehem, on the Sunday before the holiday.  For the past several years LEPOCO has organized a “peace contingent” to join the parade.  We have ranged in number from four people to over a dozen in the peace contingent.  Other parade participants are from various unions and other organizations.  We have the colorful LEPOCO banner, and other banners and signs that we carry.  We had enough people in 2018, to carry the Peace Bird!

Buckingham Peace Fair – The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives.  The Fair is nonsectarian and nonpartisan, and seeks to attract people of all beliefs from all walks of life.
