“What I Want You to Know,” is a documentary that lays bare the extent of what war does to those who do the actual fighting, particularly with regard to moral injury, the profound psychological and emotional wound that many veterans carry from their wartime experiences. The film is directed by Catie Foertsch and is 56 minutes in length. Following the film, Rick Dow will make a presentation about conscientious objection, followed by a time for questions and discussion. Rick is an active member of LEPOCO, a Quaker, a convener of the Annual Nazareth-to-Bethlehem Christmas Peace Pilgrimage (see enclosed flyer), a regular peace vigiler (on Wednesdays on Rt. 512 at the L.V. Friends Meeting and on Thursdays with the Third & Wyandotte vigil in south Bethlehem, and he was a conscientious objector. Please bring a snack or a beverage to share.
